House of Hope has a number of programs to give our guests the helping hand they need.
Shelter:
We have two facilities on campus. “Norma’s Place” is a 16-bed shelter exclusively for women & children. “Phil & Fran’s Place” has 18 beds for adult males and 10 beds reserved for families. (Family area currently under development.) NOTE: Doors open at the House of Hope between the hours of 5:00-7:00pm each day. Guests must check in each evening during that time period as long as they reside on premises.
Housing Advocacy:
Every guest at the shelter can work with our Housing Advocate. They receive coordinated care, connections to support services, and a knowledgeable guide to help them find stable housing.
Food:
We have 3 meals available each day. Breakfast, sack lunches, and a hot meal for dinner. All of our food is generously donated by our supporters.
Shelter:
Our 16-bed facility offers a comfortable bed, books to read, board games, and community television viewing.
Hygiene:
We offer onsite laundry access, hot showers, and free personal hygiene items to all of our guests.
Clothing:
We maintain a coat closet on site to distribute new and lightly-used jackets and coats to our guests that have been donated by our supporters.
