Earlier in May, Caesars Virginia hosted two invite-only opening nights. Because of State law, the casino is not allowed to keep profits from those nights. So, they take the opportunity to donate the proceeds towards local non-profits. We are very excited to announce that, along with Haven of the Dan River Region, House of Hope was chosen as a recipient! This significant contribution will help us do a lot of good. From stabilizing current programs to perhaps even becoming the start to something new – we’re excited to see where this takes us!
But, we still have a lot of work to do. Though we are extremely grateful for a gift such as this, it is important to recognize that without our local network of donors, supporters, and volunteers – House of Hope would not be around to receive such a gift.
